Raj's Chemist is your local independent NHS community pharmacy. We opened in October 1993, this is our 25th year and we give a friendly, efficient, helpful and patient focused pharmacy service. We provide a free prescription collection service from Hollyns Health and Wellbeing (formerly The Grange Practice), Kensington Street Partnership, Manor Medical Practice, Thornton Medical Practice, and our comprehensive and reliable free prescription delivery service brings medicines straight to the doors of our patients in Thornton, Allerton, Lower Grange, Girlington and surrounding areas.It is incredibly simple to sign up to us, just call us on 01274 884751 and we will come round with a sign-up form and collect a few details and a signature and we will sort everything else out with your GP surgery. All you need to do then, is to order your medications as normal and when your GP surgery issue a prescription we will deliver them to you at a time you prefer and it's as easy as that.
We aim to use the same brands wherever possible, so the medicines you get will look the same each month. We also pride ourselves on maintaining the correct stock levels, so that we rarely need to owe you anything. We also offer a range of services such as free blood pressure and diabetes checks, and we are also able to offer free flu vaccinations (for patients over 65 or in at risk groups), or privately if you are not eligible for a free vaccination. We have a STOP SMOKING SERVICE and it is FREE. Our Stop Smoking adviser arranges with you the best products to help you and if you do not pay for prescriptions these products are free.
